At Creekside Arts, our mission is to create a dynamic setting, influenced by the natural environment that surrounds us, where artists can push the boundaries of their creativity and engage deeply with one another, their audiences, and this place. We are committed to fostering an environment of mutual inspiration where artists are free to experiment, learn from and inspire their peers.
Land Acknowledgement
Creekside Arts sits on the present and ancestral Homeland and unceded territory of the Wiyot Tribe. Wiyot land stretches from the south at Bear River Ridge and to the north at Little River. The Wiyot people actively managed their land and resources for thousands of years, and the Wiyot Tribe and its members are continuously and actively engaged in protecting and restoring these ancestral, sacred lands and ecosystems.
Creekside Arts collective members are grateful to have the privilege to live on and care for this land, and to create art and build community here.
We encourage you to donate to The Honor Tax Project when you attend an event at Creekside Arts.
